Governor Sandoval recently visited the aviation magnet program at Rancho High School in Las Vegas, where as many as 35 seniors graduate annually with pilot licenses, many of whom go on to serve in the military and attend top universities in pursuit of aviation careers. The Governor then visited the North Las Vegas Airport campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where students include unmanned drone pilots from the nearby Creech Air Force Base who earn undergraduate and advanced degrees in aeronautical science.
